Cardiff Jets A 23-0 Earth Soc
Cardiff Jets A have secured their fourth victory of the IMG group stages against fellow newcomers Earth Soc, with an impressive 23-0 win in a skilful display at Talybont.
THIS WEEK’S IMG FIXTURES have done nothing to enhance the ever-dwindling reputation of the competition. The football fixtures were cancelled for the third time in a month and a Biology netball player slipped and broke her arm on the courts at Talybont.
The accident itself has sparked an investigation into the cause of the fall and inline with this decision the courts have been shut temporarily to prevent further accidents. An independent assessor is required to examine the condition of the courts before they can be re-opened. Sport and Exercise are looking to accommodate netball indoors until this assessment has been made.
Pharmacy A 11-4 CARBS B
PHARMACY PROVED too strong for CARBS’s B as they strolled to an emphatic win.
THIS WEEK gair rhydd interviewed new IMG Chair James Lambden on his thoughts for the year ahead and his response to his controversial comments in last week’s edition.
First of all James, let’s clear up your views on the article in last week’s edition where it is claimed that you said BUCS sport is more important than IMG in terms of finance.
Cardiff Jets 16-2 Biology

Law A 24-1 Optometry
LAW A, as usual, delivered a highly polished performance in what turned out to be an exciting match. Having been forced to concede games already in this phase, Optometry trail Law considerably in the tables and, it transpired, on the court.

Both Cardiff A and Pharmacy B battled hard from the opening centre pass in what was a surprisingly hard-fought match for Cardiff, who are currently settled at the top of Group A.
Cardiff Jets 15-8 E. Automotive
NEWCOMERS CARDIFF JETS A secured their second group stage victory in a hard-fought match against the established Engin Automotive. The game, played at Talybont in cold and slippery conditions, was littered with unforced errors but both sides dug deep to deliver an exciting contest.

PONTCANNA SET THE STAGE for an enthralling tie between the two unbeaten teams in Group C. Something had to give as FC Samba Tigers took on Engin Locomotive.
